So the Silvia had to go as the wife is nearly due and it wasn't not the most practical car in the world!
It went to Germany about 5 weeks ago and since we have been on the lookout for a suitable replacement. And here it is!

1995
1.9tdi
265,000 miles
Grey with Antracite wheels
Cloth interior
Lowering springs on standard shocks
Plans are to get rid of the roofrack, cut the rear springs to lower it about an inch. Ive ordered a full set of Audi mudflaps and i'm getting full limo tints all round including a 20 inch deep suntrip tint. A kind of felt spec, not to everyones taste but I'm really beginning to like the look now. It's booked to get chipped next week too, might be a little smokey but it should go well then
Opinions welcomed! :)
Leave the roofrack and put the pram up there, fully assembled rather than a bike!!
Left hooker and all. Perfect for having your good arm free to swing back at a crying child. :)

2008 S Line, 143hp I think. 2Ltr TDI
The usual stuff with heated electric leather & alcantara seats, cruise control and lots of other gadgets n stuff
Got 54mpg ish on the way home, 156 euro for a years tax and fully comp for 400. Thats all sorted for the year for the same price as 6 months tax on the 81 lol
Niiiiiice! You'd fit three babies in there!
Whats the story with that fancy lookin drivers seat?

No, more like it fits the shopping without having bags of shit on the parcelshelf/wedged into the back of my seat/on my seat/in the way of the gearstick/causing me to drive home at 4mph because its scraping on every hair i drive over etc etc :)
What, the sticky out bit? It just moves out, like to extend the seat closer to the back of your knee! Passenger side has the same but if your not as tall you dont need to use it ha
Lovely motor lad, i love Audi. Altho i think il sell mine and buy a Toyota. But you cant go too wrong with an Audi. :)
Are you talkin about practicality Kieran? Pfft! Loser! :p
The car looks nice though and is what youll need now with Jr.O'Carroll coming!
Never seen that before so it must be posh! Dont think id need one though if theyre for tall people

Cheers, we went and looked at 320's, insignia, mazda 6 the audi and the lexus. The bimmer, lexus and audi were the nicest and all pretty much the same but she just preferred the A4 so we stuck with that.

Practicality? You do know I have wooden ramps I need to use to get the 81 off my driveway every morning right? It takes nearly ten minutes to get the car away from the house in the morning between warming up and getting off the drive!
Yea its a swanky safe car that (fingers crossed!) will do for a right few years. Feckin better anyway! Bm's have the seat thing too, most newer 'sports' versions of cars have them i think
Awh feck I was going to dibs the roof rack!
