hello to all from Cashel!!

Hi lads,

Just sold my road going s13 to join you guys with a proper drift car. I had an 266bhp s13 (CA18det) then stock s13 (done sr20det conversion on it which I didn't like in the end), third was a mint 180sx with n/a plus RB25 but sold the engine and box as I couldn't find the point owning road going drift car anymore.

So now I can join never-ending discussion CAvsSR as I know both inside-out :D

I'm going to go back to CA18 route (have loads of parts, two blocks in the shed know the engine and electronics etc etc) soon-ish.

For the moment, I'm gonna use my friend's newly acquired 535i (the blue one with stars) and join you in the next practice on 11th. We're gonna split the costs so he owns the car and I transport it and fix it. We'll see how it goes.

I need to buy a trailer ASAP, let me know if you know about any good 1!!!

Come to me guys when you got stuck with your s14 or s13, or just for some laugh! It's unbelieveable how many parts I accumulated over 3 years of owning nissans (esp when I was doing sr20det conversion from uk s14).

Gotta have all sensors as I was fixing it oldschool and then I found that I have an hybrid ECU fcuker that was fried as well and loom that went IN THE BIN and then it was fine.
I think that I'm good enough with the multimeter and troubleshooting s14's now, lol

Have it obviously:D If you're not sure if it's faulty just pop in and we'll swap it and we'll see. Might not be that, you never know if you don't try.

And thanks again for help with RB lump:D Punto RB carrier FTW! And I believe that Colm build that red 180 properly. Liked it a lot.

Aye, and I'm a CA man, found RB too fragile and $$$$$. The guy who bought the engine was putting 4th one within 3 years. Those 3 that failed did 5kkms of normal driving in total, all burned random pistons:eek:

My plan is to start with something simple, learn basics then custom turbo setup over winter (mitsi twin scroll TD05-16G6 10.5T) so little lag and mega power.

I know most local guys (not all personally though) as I can see you (err, hear) from my garden. I will never forget white chaser on the rev limiter, what a sound!!! Some badass driving mega skills !!! I was sad to hear it got sold.

Yup, this was the JZX100 I was talking about. Heard (and seen) it a lot on the link road. I was looking into having a ride with you to get some more idea about the thing but it was too late.
Sound, speed, looks - this was the business. Insane skills too!

Think the Bobby's one (crashed now) was the one I was looking to buy at some stage, but he didn't want to part with it (that's what Colm told me). Would be a great dorifto machinery.

BTW, bought the trailer now so ready to roll!
