Anyone know where's the best place to get one of these? I was looking at some decent coloured ones last week and can't seem to find em anywhere now. Ebay seems to have fuck all too. Driftworks only seem to have silver ones. Cheers!

Have grooved discs and fresh yellowstuff. Had to un-jam a stuck piston a while back and maybe I messed somethin up putting the calliper back together. Will take em apart for a look again when I get time. Didn't bleed em tho, must look up how to do it

awh ye man you may bleed them your rear brakes must be all over the place??

did you replace seals or boots or anything??

ConorS15
15-06-11, 22:35
Nah I sanded the pistons and put fresh copper grease in em. Picked up fresh boots and pistons off of Dara but havn't got around to swappin em yet. Ah I didn't realise ya needed to bleed em haha, need to pick up some fluid first. Ah she stops just fine but the front callipers are bigger anyways so I probbaly wouldnt have noticed. Havn't taken her on a track yet

Just wonderin tho, (que noob question) is the handbrake not independent from the brake fluid system? As in does the cable not directly activate the pots? So much to learn :p

will these drift buttons fit any car,or is there diff ones for each make of car??

ConorS15

Not sure, I'd say some cars would have slightly different sized buttons/holes so you'd wanna check really. You're basically just disconnecting the spring that pushes the normal button back out, and then the button attachment fits on so that you can pull the button back out manually when you need the handbrake to stay up

Take out the spring, drill a hole offcentre on the button and stick a cable tie through it. Perfect job!
