this may well be a very stupid question that i already know the answer to but but i just need someone else to tell me.

i was thinking of fitting it between the rad and the intercooler(about 5-6 inch gap) as it should get plenty of cold air there but it will be pretty much right in front of the rad and nearly touching, will this effect the rad cooling too much or will it be fine? im picking down there because im a lazy bastard and its a case of drilling two holes(maybe even one if it fits where i want:D) instead of making up brackets to fit elsewhere:rolleyes:

if your putting it there make sure the front mount is nt bloking it the main thing is you put it some where that the air from the front is able to get in at it put it under the head lights if eny were there be notting blocking it and the side vent s in the bumper should cool it:confused:

If you have removed your ac rad(if you had one) then I always mount them onto the bottom of the slam panel...like so...

is that behind the rad or the intercooler?

I see a lot of people putting in the standard wmi position, I wouldnt do it as if you have even a minor prang or a blow out and the cooler can be damaged leading to your engine loosing oil suddenly.

Its in less vulnerable place under the slam panel.

Its behind and above the intercooler and in front of the rad.
