View Full Version : My new Tramp

After a bad start to drifting with the engine giving up in the S14 I went back to the drawing board!
In reality the s14 was too clean for drifting and I found myself not pushing as hard as I should of so that sort of put me off getting the engine rebuilt, I knew I needed a TRAMP!!

After a lot of looking and alot of travelling about, I bought one and a right tramp it is!!
I have to say this, so many people say that there is a lot of time wasters out there but there is every bit as much sellers that are time wasters as buyers!

Car has recently had an engine rebuild by PJF motorsport.... engine has to be run in yet...
Cosworth main bearings
cosworth big end bearings
cosworth thrust washers
cosworth 1.5 metal head gasket
Apr heads bolts
Apr rod bolts
Brand new nissan oem oil pump

What are peoples opinions on 1.5mm HG?

Car in general has a good spec for drifting but you could have probably painted it better with a brush! Not that it will bother me as I will try my best to leave the paint on a wall!!!

Plans are:
Greddy t517z
550cc injectors
Rb25 afm
Have these bits kept from breaking the S14! fit them and Remap

Possibly a new FMIC, what do people think of front mount thats on it, pipe is very long!

Anyway dont have any good pics yet

Cheers lad, hope to get more use out of this one!!

Any opinions on that front mount? Does the extra travel cause any problems?

nice machine lad best of luck with it i wouldnt see any issue with the head gasket i have seeing ticker than that, head probably needed skimming and the ticker head gasket was used to sort the compresion ratio, the only issue is see with the front mount is it might be a bit laggie with the lenth of pipe ie shorter pipe less lag what way does it cross over into the intake manifold

i was lookin at that car on dd aswell looks a fine car for the money! i wouldnt worry too much about the i/c pipe to be honest lad you woulnt notice the lag difference, if anything hold onto it looks like a decent core, unlike alot of shinny ebay ones where the flow is shockin!
