well lads may be gettin a donation of a standard sr20 manifold... was thinkin of refitting the standard one instead of 4 branch for ease of replacing gaskets etc.... is there much of a difference in flow rates that reduce my power noticeably?? or should i stick with my 4 branch??

thanks

i was told the standard one is better till you brake the 350 bhp mark than it starts to restriced the air flow

cheap stainless ones are kinda crap alright , like ebay ones wouldn have a great flow rate an crack easy , but with the likes of tomei hks greddy etc its a different story , there all completely polished etc inside to give the best flow rate possible and are much stronger and dont crack as easy ..

id say your best bet is stay standard if ya only runnin handy power , an if your goin for big power get a decent make one.

the standard ones rarely crack either...

There's no real difference,i find the 4branch makes the cars rev out a lil quicker, nothin major really, but a standard 1 is gud 2.

were do i start

i did a test on both, same rollin road and all
and there a differance not in BHP but in tourqe
and a good bit, the tubler better for the spool up and flow
but tourque will be reduce

the standerd manifold gives you more tourque and never craic ste
id put the standerd one on ....
