Its a 97 180sx Blacktop non-vvt SR20DET

High Idle Lambda: 1.09
(2,810 rpm)
Co 0.02 vol%

HC 24 ppm

Do i need a new lambda sensor guys??

Is your lamda reading too high?

The lambda reading should be between 0.97 and 1.03....!

But mine is 1.09......!

is this high??

We could do a math lesson...
but I'll just give you the answer. :)
You probably need a new lamda

*It might not seem that high but considering you only have a .06 accuracy window and your reading is a whole .06 higher than the highest reading then it's pretty high.

lambda only reading d air mixture in exhaust , just because its outside readings doesnt necceserily mean a lambda , easiest thing first is check for leak in exhaust or blow out somewhere , , your lambda is running too lean at minute

as said check for leaks first, exhaust could be drawing in air from somewhere
after the lambda, if its all sealed tight bang a lamba sensor in, its a bit to high for it to be the cat-convertor:)
