View Full Version : Newbie - BMW mad!
Hi All,
Recognise a few names already from various forums (fora!?) but im Ben from Limerick/Clare and have a few BMW's you could say.
Anyway im in the middle of an M5 Drift build and want to get as much seat time as possible with it. Not sure about competing just yet - want to improve first!
Ill put up a project thread once ive got some more pics!
Cheers
Ben.

m5 sounds tasty!!! welcome along man, try get sum pics up of it!!!
Illl try and get some pics up tomorrow lads.
Basic spec - 91 3.6 M5 E34. 315bhp standard and ill be taking out the cats, a/c, and emissions pump. If it makes anywhere close to factory power im happy.
What ill be doing to it is fitting poly bushes all round, shimming up the standard lsd - i dont want a welded one if i can avoid it just yet, hydro wand, have two bucket seats already along with an uprated clutch and I will be caging it. Also have looked into getting the dual mass flywheel locked up. If i can afford a set of coilovers they are going in but ill prob run it for a few months on M5 suspension.
Engines fooked in it but ive only taken delivery of a new one today - shipped in from the uk. Its going to be a busy weekend!
mr o brien is it yourself ha ha
