View Full Version : engine choice
me and another lad on here are after getting an s15 to put on the track and dont know what engine to go with.
we do not have much drifting experience so were only starting out realy and want something comftorable and relyable.
so let ous know what ye think sr, jz or rb
thanks
Sr, obvious choice for obvious reason. Ie sbody, drifting and lack of experience!
sr, save the hassle and get some track time in... :D

Better off just starting off with an SR though or else going with a 1J, 1UZ or whatever you want over a while and do it right and in the meantime get something cheap thats actually running and ready for you to put some track miles on.
Great ideas about engine swaps and builds like that always end up to more or less building a whole car and taking ages... like my fecking yoke  (and more importantly no track time while it is going on and on) unless its just a drift spec car ready to go just needing an engine... in which case another SR would be best for the time being.
