Nice build! Looks like a good shell to start off with too.
You using a 3.91 cwp in the Evo diff or going to put on a 328/3L rear subframe and diff on it?
thanks lad!yea converting the smg box to a manual!
Don't bother, its not too bad to do but with buying the few bits and pieces and taking it apart its cheaper and easier to just use a 5 speed ZF box from a 328 or 3L.
Even after converting the Evo box to manual, it may still shit itself after a few outings as they are pretty soft to be fair to them.
E46 M3 SMG box would be worth converting alright if you really needed the 6th gear for some reason.
You'll sell the SMG box (if its good) for more than you'll pick up a 5 speed and bits needed to fit it too.

Solid steering bush a done the same
Work on the hub and arms nice build am
Running a 4.1 diff makes a massive difference
Well worth it . A took out the LSD and
Put in a 5 series open diff that's welded fitts the
Same casing
thanks for all the positive comments
@m3con the solid steering bush was made to improve the feel of the steering.thats my plan aswell but think i might go with the 4.4.

Makes a huge difference! Have modified hubs and arms there if you want a set but you should be able to do it yourself too :)
It's the first thing you should do to any
Drifter simplest thing to do check out the
Pics on the private drift day at Eglington
Thread for pics mac-c done his this week
Ave mine done too cost me the price
Of 2 Honda civic drop links cause the m3
Ones won't suit the lengthened wish bones
BMW wishbone and hub made of cast steel so it's
Easily welded up again anyone half decent
with a welder can do it . Ya don't really need spacers
Either if ya can get 5 series wheels they have massive
Offset don't know the name of them think they off the
E60 series and they give massive front end grip

Also, let me know how you get on with the Act Clutch lad as i plan on running one next year :)
