Right I've been here a while but now I finally have a reason to post.

I picked this up 2 weeks for myself and my girlfriend (she is waiting to sell her DA integra and upgrade) ago and so far I couldn't be happier with the car. Currently the only modifications done are the later models Sports grill and lowered 30mm all round with Tein springs. The car has been well looked after and came with a full service history in receipts from lexus and fast fit dating back to when the car was new.

The usual Sports features are also there like the LSD, 6 speed box, interior etc.

Going forward the plans are : TRD carbon strut braces (formally on an altezza so hopefully they will fit as some do some don't) which I am picking up today, 20mm spacers for the rear, TRD lip kit (If I can ever find one), Greddy oil catch can being ordered during next week and different wheels will follow soon.

Thats about it, all comments good or constructive appreciated.

Sorry about the use of donedeal pictures.

So far the main issues we have faced is a sqeak from the clutch spring, and another from the fan belt (sorted with the power of WD40 and a quick tighten). Here however shows the corrosion on the wheels and a quick idea from my other half Denise to refurb them gold (below is only the spare which was just a test hence the half-arsed job)

@Greg - It was lying up for a few months before buying it so the breaks had become slightly sticky and were making a bit of noise that was about it. Hard lock from standing it makes a little clunking every so often but Still have to get up to one of the lads pits to check the diff oil level. I had my dad look it over and he said just to check it too as everything seems fine.

@ Everyone else - very happy with it, and impressed with the comfort and driving just hoping the strut braces go on later!

Change the oil and it'll quieten down. Do it before you fuck it up and end up costing yourself a heap of money

Thats the plan as soon as Eugene is free. I haven't really been messing with it being completely honest just waiting to get that and the few bits in the first post mostly done and take it from there.

There seems to be alot of interest in the uk with adding a similar super charger from the is300 or just a complete transplant to an RS200. Thats just what I've seen from browsing anyways but I have no plans to change anything myself

Right another quick update. I picked up strut braces last night, the front is Carbon (unsure of the make) and the rear is TRD (still to be fitted). I forgot to get pictures of the front but hopefully will have them up tomorrow. Anyway the few things I managed to get a picture of are

The Tein springs (soon to be for sale) :

I finally put the gold wheel on the car to check the colour. I do like it to be fair but don't have time to refurb the rest just yet.

I picked these up this morning with a big thank you to Sparky. They are 20mm Nissan spacers which I have sent away to get re-treaded and will hopefully have back tomorrow. My problem is I will ether have to Roll the arches or wait for the coilovers to arrive otherwise I'll have a lovely rusted Arch.

Right the rest of my Purchases Currently include the coilovers and a OEM Carbon bonnet (hopefully) which thanks to a few favours being owed are really coming at the right price. I also sourced a Tezza for breaking close to home so I am seriously hoping the TRD lip kit is okay and worth taking. All plans going well It'll be something nice and dishy soon.

@Greg - Diff oil checked today, cheers for the tip

well wear man, another tip-if you're doggin da shit outa it keep an eye on da temp gauge as they tent to overheat with a hard going over, maybe we are just rough around here but have seen 2 overheat in da last few months so just keep an eye on it

@Jordan - No the golf is still here. It'll be for sale very soon. To be honest Its a car i've like for a long time and if I decide to sell her, the parts going in can be stripped and sold again. I think I will have it for a long time to come though.

@Andy - I definitely will man. I have heard the same thing only last night. I am looking into picking up an oil cooler off a van and fabricating the current brackets. However this mightn't happen for a while to come. Cheers for the tip :)

How's Eddie, long time no see. I'm not generally around too much these days but if you're ever around give a shout any time at all. I'm in Mooncoin more that anything  Actually I may come up your way soon as I have to see a few Clonmel heads.

Got a few picks of the front Strut, still waiting on the TRD one for the rear to go in (I fear cutting carpet)

I am in desperate need of coilovers and I need to stiffen the body up a good bit more as its killing me at the moment.
