cheers for all the comments guys

so.. while the engine was away, we modified the front hubs

removed alu covers that were covering old battery tray etc

cut out the tubs and old trays

this idea came from my cousin who is building a drift car at the mo with sum differences of my own

folded a shelf for new tray, and made up straps for in front of turrets, and smaller straps for sides, creating a shelf to move forward the original tub, and then welded it all up

prime and paint next and then installing the engine etc

hopefully push to make the 8th for testing

So..... had the shakedown in Mondello Friday, booked the half day.
Things ran fairly smoothly, after a few laps noticed a pipe was loose quick tighten and all was sorted.

Ran 18s up front to check clearence with new tubs all good

That was it really very happy with the set up:)

Few more pics of front bumper supports and intercooler pipes and brackets

I had the brackets mounted on the original tow hooks last year but modified them slightly for new bumper

We made the top brackets new because of having no s15 panel anymore to hold top of bumper

We had stainless elbows and fittings so mocked up all the pipes where we wanted them taped them together and a friend tacked them and welded them also putting a small strip at the end of the pipes to stop hoses blowing off hopefully

Hopefully have graphics for round 1

Things to do, maybe front lights, and wheels at some stage, but thats it for now, Enjoy :)
