righto bit more done the last while engine and box are in now and sitting in place the engine seems to sit better in this than the r32 as theres loads more room to work on both sides of the engine but less room at the front
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w179/podge_07/168.jpg

http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w179/podge_07/169.jpg

also for added reliablity i fitted a oil cooler and relocation kit to make oil changes easier
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w179/podge_07/170.jpg

also refitted and made brakets for the electric fan oil cooler and intercooler all mounted high and well back behind the bumper bar to hopefully protect them a bit if the worst happens

Looking go lad should be a good competive car....! Why u paint the inside and then put a cage in after......

hopefully it,ll be competive some day but the way things r at the min it,ll just be used for pratice days
theres plates in the floor for a cage so im just gonna throw a bolt in cage into it and build a proper shell when moneys a bit more flush
plus if i stack this shell its just a matter of bolting everything out and into another 180

podge
19-05-11, 23:15
so got a few more small bits done at this again got nelly out with the welder and we made up the intercooler pipe for the turbo side really happy with the way it turned out it fits like a glove and only 2 samcos needed so hopefully will lessen the chance of boost leaks or pipes blowing off
