s15 spec r not starting

hey lads the buddy has a s15 spec r and it cut out on him last week,he was told that it was crank shaft sensor so he got new one and still not working, the car will tick like the battery is dead but a new battery is put in,the fuel pump is workin, starter is fine,he changed plugs aswell and nothin made a difference, anyone any idea on this much appreciated ?

did he check if he had gud earths onto the block??
id try clamp an earth lead onto the battery and other end onto the engine somewhere

Lose batery lead or earth? Did he check the starter? Do the usual and check for spark and fuel? All just suggestions.:D

Actually that sounds like what hapened my old 14a. Has it got a power fc by any chance? Check the loom over the drivers wheel for broken wires.

has he flash coded it to see if theres anything coming up? comp tested it?

cheers lads, im not sure now about the earths cos its in his mechanics place im gussin he would hav checked that but maybe not !! ya the starter is fine and im not sure on the comp test if that was done but i will pass on all that info anyway to him.
