below is mine...does it look correct?i didnt put on the intercooler so it hard to know where to start

also what are the two components circled in red?are they needed?any other engine bay pics ive seen have them removed

nice one.bit of the problem solved.so are both components part of the stock boost controller?part of that top one circled is joined to the turbo elbow.

its an egr valve lad exhaust gas reculator , just cut the pipe wer it goes onto elbow and stick a bolt into the hose and a clip 2 keep it in until u get an after market elbow

@ian ordered one 2 days ago of dw along with warlbro fuel pump so itll be getting the bin when they come.might be a stupid question bit if i bin the egr and stock boost controller, what do i connect the bov valve to??the new boost controller will probably have a diagram.....hopefully!

@darren it has standard t25 with standard elbow.will double check tomorro but 99% sure

Got my boost controller today.its only a manual one of driftwoorks for now.does this installation look correct as i got no instructions with it

http://i591.photobucket.com/albums/ss351/s13-drifter/70b16f72.jpg

i also disconnected the vac pipes from the stock boost controller as ya can see in the pic.is it safe to do this now that i have the boost controller installed?

Top is your EGR
-> It sends excess gases back into the car, you can leave it on if you like.. it does not effect performance up through the rev range. Most peeps just remove it.

Bottom is your boost controller
-> it regulates your charged air pressure to the intake manifold (boost)
This is important, so do not remove it
EDIT* crap, didn't read full thread.. you have a new boost controller

And yes, I need the put joobs on T piping so nothing pops off :)

thanks for the info!!is it safe to go ahead and take off the vac pipes to the stock boost controller?i wanna get rid of as much un-necessary pipe work/wiring as i can.

also does the dump valve look like its connected properly?

sorry if these questions sound retarded but theres pipes and wires all over the place sense the last owner so im tring my best to clear it all up
