Can pm you Bart but just wondering is it a case of we pay now for something thats 3 1/2 months away? First come first served obviously. I've no problem paying in advance but 3 1/2 months just seems a little too far imo? Will still pay of course if thats just the way it is.

ok well you can take the chance off trying to get spot lad..
but as alot of people( inc my own friends) didnt get to drift cause it was full...
we stick to a tight rule there and i think its working ok so far without any prob..
so this is the way it is.... (and not been smart);)

Oh no probs Bart. Didnt mean to sound like I was having a go or anything like that. I think the pay in advance is perfect....was just hoping you'd put it up a bit closer to the day is all. I imagine there'll be other days in Portlaois before this, just not comps? Anyway I really want to do it so will see if I can spare some funds from christmas!

Managed to get great overnight rates in the Midway Hotel for the Sat night of this due to my sister and her manfriend workin there so thanks a mill to them. Prices are :

€59 for double room only - €29.50 per person (no brekkie)
€75 for double room - €37.50 per person (includes brekkie)

The hotel is approx 1 mile from the track and has loads of parkin for anyone that doesnt want to leave their rig at the track.

2nd gear track lad ya could be brave and catch 3rd but it wouldnt be for very long, couple of dips in it but that makes it more fun and planning the line around them, a right slippery bastid in the wet though, should be a savage weekend, cant wait

@ at johno. just chill out behind the wheel man. thats the key to any motorsport. its al mentality.. my brother sort of has philospy to gettin nervous. : what the point? if your goin crash your goin crash. being nervous or shaking like a leaf in the car isnt going to do anything or isnt going to help..

just go out and have fun and it will al come together. thats what i do. i used to be shaking even doin rc comps. but it justs goes away

Well thats one drift day more than me when we go to the event so your not alone! Just have the craic and learn what you can and have fun, that's what the weekend will be all about.

we'll judge it the saturday dave..
we'll watch peoples driving and we'll get a good idea of the two groups..
and see who's in who's group...
then the 16 from each group will be up and we'll make the draw sat evening..
(just to get the slagging going while we on the piss)
the usual.. oh i cant wait to go in on your door etc..... :p
