Hi guys,

I'm not expecting a 'how to' to be posted up on an open forum but I need an answer to this right now.

I've got some locking wheel nuts on the car but can't find the keys anywhere- is there a way of getting them off with out ruining them as I'm sure the key will turn up as soon as I don't need it anymore.

If saving them is not an option, that's cool, I have a replacement set here waiting.

So, what is the easiest way of getting them off?
PM your replies if you like so your trick doesn't become common knowledge.

there s a good few ways , try and get a cheap socket and just beat it on, den use a extension bar:D.
Go to a good tyre place , they some times have different locking nuts in garage.
or hammer and chisel, mind your alloy doe:D:D

Good few threads on this already.. But like Diesel Dick said, 16 sided socket and a big-ass lump hammer should do the trick.

Cheers guys, I just wanted to see if there was an easier way than hammering on a smaller socket.
Job done though, hammer and air gun sorted the locking nuts pretty quick.
