Gotech's run airplanes in south africa or somewhere I think so they must be trustworthy to do that job

This 20v runs one with no probs mapped by Martin Treacy

Also this ae86 with f20 ran one before the car was broke with no probs either as far as I know.

Martin Treacy used to push Omex as he's main ecu and as far as I know he changed to these ecu's after falling out with Omex, Thats the story I was told from a reliable source anyway dont know the in's and out's of it.

The 2 cars above run very well with good power.

People follow other people like sheep do, It's like Toyo T1R's years ago, when they came out first if you had a performance car you had to have Toyo on it when there was equally as good tyre sometimes better for the same money,

PFC's use dated technology but seem to be relaible and loads of people can map them, I dont know anything about Nistune.

Thats exactly what puts me off pfc there so old and were never updated...! These are only a fraction of the price of motec...!

Omex are going for similar money as go-tech
seems to be the rally guys sporting omex too
I'm sure there not as good as motec but probably better than nistune or pfc.

Ian Byrne is removing his GoTech and fitting a MoTeC instead. We have reached the end of the road with the ability of the GoTech.

Don't let the spec list fool you. They don't even have simple trim maps for turbo cars .

Nearly all the Pro drift cars use Omex which I used to supply. They are good 2x better than a Power FC and Nistune only half as good as an M4 MoTeC as they are not fully sequential and the boost control is open loop.

I think that in 3 years we sold ,fitted & mapped 185 Omex 600 ecus to MK II escorts and Sunbeams Novas and others. Many championships and Rallys have been won with them. They have not updated there SW in 4 years meaning that they are falling behind especially on the turbos. Since we developed the V70 sw with Richard Armitage from GEMS we know how to get the best out of it.

Mapping is €450

S/H Ecu probally €400+ very hard to get

TDP.ie SR20 crank sensor Kit €200

Wiring loom € 200

Coil Pack €95
Leads €75

Wiring to the car €80

They are cheaper than a brand new MoTeC M4 but not by allot.

I still sell them but due to some politics that OMEX decided on we dont push them at all.

A new Omex 600 is 620+vat for the ECU

Bare Loom is 150+vat.
