Well hows everyone
Jus want to no who would be intrested in a driftireland day at goldstone and wha way would u want it set up
Jus a normal open day where u got the use of the track for the day
OR
A bit of a competition wit a amature,semi pro and pro classes wit a practice a qualifing and then the knock out rounds and then to the twin drifting:D:D
With prives for 1st,2nd and 3rd in each class
Vid of the track will be up soon have technical probs(camera is fucked:mad:)
If theirs enough intrest tire changin facilitys will be their on the day and more important a chipper van to feed u fat fuckers ha ha:p
id be on for this....not interested in compeeting yet tho just need as much seat time as possible. when ever this feckin clutch arrives.

id deffo be interested, trying to get the car running for the MNC day coming up but a Di day later on look more likely for me.
id say a open day and then we can just have a bit of twinning our selfs if we are up for it.

yeah, it would be like the way the nutts corner day was, just drift ireland but with open pits(you use the track at your own pace)

Ye man the tracks resurfaced and widened and the track can be rented for the day price depends on how many cars man.
Drift ireland day price will be known when date is known dude:D

Theres a DI day coming up here soon if things go right and all is well it will be very soon.The bucks were checking out the videos of it yesterday so i think there having a trial run up there next week or 2 to finalise it so it could be within September early October. I personaly cannot fooking wait for another DI day!!!

We are organising a day but we've been quite busy trying to sort stuff like japfest and shit, let alone our daily jobs and our own cars!
We have a preliminary date set but we dont wana have everyone arrive up an be dissapointed for any reason do we??
So hopefully i'll have a new box i my yoke and myself darragh and pete will probably head up this weekend and suss it out then report back!

Yeah i reckon very early october, cause theres a few practice days coming up like mondello in under 2 weeks and an AMA comp/practice day up north the same weekend..
So we'll try have a date sorted by this weekend!

Notin is bein dragged out lads and ladies wanna get the track 100% rite for yous and thats why i invited down jay and darragh to test the track out.
We completed the last few nigely bits of the track in last few days so it would be ready for the DI crew:D.
As for the video bart i live in kildare and i have not been down in the track in last few days and ben flat out workin and gettin ready for japfest as jay said so will get good vid of jay on our new track for yous:D

U bringin your new 1j s13 out on track when u get it bart.

The track was as rough as a bent camel,hence why people on here dont want to take there cars...hence why they want a video...;)

Next big day down their is the brian butler memorial dude allways a big day and for a great cause.
If anyone has never heard of this day before or the reason it is on i will; tell yous now.
Brian butler was a very common face in goldstone in his r32 drift car but sadly he was killed in a accident in work and the day is held in his honour.
Allways a big turnout and cant wait for this year.
Mnc are holding a day on the track on the 26th of this month
And as u no in october thier is a di day out:D
Theirs also a ae 86 irl day in next few weeks
And theirs a few competions bein aranged before the end of the year
The track is also bein used by some of the bally shannon hotrod club for a meet when their racing is out of season allways good to watch and a fun day out.

as has been said the track was rough as fuck and had to big fuck off bumps that could claim bumpers, hence people wanting to see if its been sorted.

Is this surface fairly rough concrete or has it been resurfaced with tarmac lads?
Either way i picked up some spare shit tires for the standard wheels last week to use, not that i'd be able to burn them any lol!:p
i cant drive my yoke without it banging off stuff, so ill have a look at the track , and i got a new cam phone, so ill test out its 5mp camera while i walk the track inspecting haha
lads if the bumps are gone or not, i wudnt bring your your daily drivers down here because your definitly gona hit it off the tyres, it for drift cars that you dnt really mind hitten off stuff. iv been goin down here for the last 3 years before their was other tracks available and its still as demanding as the first day i drove it, i actually liked the bumps and is a good starter track .
The Brian buttler memorial day in december is gona be massive as every navan lad is gona be fighten too bring home a trophy to brian s home town.

We have a provisional date already but i'm just gona go down after work today and have a few laps, least everyone should know then what to expect when we have a di day there!

I have bein down there a lot with my car has a full kit and i never broke anyting..
just go down for the day have a go at it and see for your self how ya get on..
its worth a day out at least.
