so next up is an nct, the car has never had one:eek::eek: basically the owner brought it in from japan, put about 500 miles on it and then went to live in germany for the rest of the time.
the car was garaged for that time. (next to a mint irish twin cam i might add:cool:)

he basically came back to ireland to visit his family for a few weeks and in that time he decided to throw this car up for sale! which i bought straight away:D

having looked over the car it needs very very little to pass!

a battery

fit that indicator

sort out the fly off handbrake

new legal number plates

in theory i should have the car nct'd already because this stuff is really cheap, but im fucked for money right now and its insurance payment week:(:( FML!

i sent the s13 through the nct and they had no problem with it, same with alan opel and his was pretty covered! id say you would be fine , but can depend if you get a cunt of a tester!

so i wired up the apexi avcr all by myself(with a very tiny bit of help from alan opel and hachi) im very proud of myself haha(because im shit at doing this kinda stuff). so far the car hasnt blown up, so thats a plus(touch wood:p), but i havent a clue of how to set the thing up, so thats gonna take some researching.

mounted the solenoid near the airfilter, seemed like a good place as it wasnt far from the turbo but also in a cool place so it wouldnt melt :p

ran the wires through this grommet as i really didnt want to go drilling a hole in the car. with the help of a coat hanger to help feed it through, because when removing the glove box, you cant actually get to the other side of it as there is loads of random boxes in the way (a/c , fan etc)

the plus side to doing this is that it brought all the wires right next to the ecu

so i had alan opel come over to take a look at the piping to see if i had done everything right (which i did haha) and he spotted a random pipe going into the interior, he has a look under the dash and look what he finds!

bumper is sound, just having problems with the angle of the exhaust

skirts are under going fibreglassing at the mo, as you will see in the pictures

i know i know fitment fail etc the front arches are pulled and flared so they are out a good bit more than a standard arch, the wheels are also on a 30mm spacer:o:o (offset is 9j +5)

still, better than the last wheels

did this so far today, painted up spoiler, came out decent considering it was painted in a shitty old drirty shed, just need to give it a sand with some sandpaper to make it shinyier then give it a lauer and we are done!

no play at all! aparently gets even tighter over time also!(dunno how that works)

this is true jeff, but we must remember, i dont know where or when i lost it, im only making the assumption of losing it during my spirited driving(and to sound kinda cool), the car only became noisy a few mins after this, so it was probably in for me and steves little drive, so i lost it after this

it does! (apparently) juice used it on his car and a few other lads have too and said it works great! heats up the cat or something, have to drive the shit out of the car on the way too the test centre for it to work:D
