before diptane i had 1.06 which caused me to fail ,its i think between .96 and 1.03 to pass , the 1st time i had it tested a few months back i got 1.03 , this time i got it tested i got 1.06 which i find strange as it was the exact same set up as the last time going in there.

after diptane i got emmisions of 1.03 , i reckon it could have gotten lower if the cat hadnt been allowed cool down so much as i drove the living shit out of it up to the test centre but then i was made hang around for an hour (even though i was there 15 mins before my test appointment)

im not too sure how diptaine works but i think it heats up the cat which helps lower emmisions or something like that (this is what i was told)

got off my lazy ass today and finally got my decat and turbo elbow fitted (thanks to alan_opel and coinin for all the help)

nice difference off the decat and elbow, comes on boost much quicker and especially on the higher gears , like cruising in 4th, put the foot down and it takes off! used to be dead when id do that haha.

also started making a quick pigeon noise for some reason :huh:

also discovered i have a metal head gasket! nice!!

also changed the oil and filter 15w50 mobil 1 ftw! also a genuine nissan filter, didnt bother with that fram one

when im say cruising in 5th gear doing about 60 mph , if i put the foot down as it starts building up to 100mph it misses occasionally , like say 3 or 4 times. the boost is around .95 according to my avcr. is this a fuelling issue?? is it leaning off? i have a walbro already in it. could it be injectors?

yeah guys i totally agree with you , bonnet lets it down big time , we broke out the buffer and polished it etc but it keeps clouding back up! it needs to be shiny, its all matte and dull :(

minor update , got a few go faster parts for when i go over 300bhp a few weeks ago

got 550cc injectors off k1984w , have to be flow tested 1st as he is not sure if they are 100% he thought they were faulty but then discoverd that one of the injectors wires was frayed so that could have been the cause, he said he has no problem refunding money if they are not ok which is sound of him :D

also picked up a z32 afm off a dude on sxoc , hes not sure if it was causing the miss in his car or if it was due to poor map/boost leak etc so he allowed me take it away for free 1st so i can test it on juices car and if it works i can send him the money! sound!

we tested it and it seemed fine, car idled fine and drove fine when driven hard, but after talking to him again he said that his car only acted up in 4th gear at aroud 2500rpm under hard acceleration , sooooooo gonna go back to juice and test it again under those conditions

today i took off the front bumper and one of the wings as i am going beating up the inner arches, would have had it done today but i fucked one of the internal wheel nuts so i have to fugure out how to get that off first :mad::mad:
