This video is an overview of Christy Carpenters year in the ProDrift series in Ireland. Christy joined the Nexen team earlier this year and has been steadily improving alongside Nexen team mate James Deane.
Christy drives the glorious sounding 1JZ engined S15 which is thought of by many as the most stunning european drift car in exsistance today - i find that hard to argue against. It looks amazing and sounds amazing too.
Christy ended his year in Prodrift at the final round with his first podium ever taking 3rd place overall. Christy was on absolute fire the entire weekend making very few mistakes. Indeed he pushed his team mate and ProDrift Champion of 2010 into a "one more time" situation. It was only a small error that seperated both at the end but Christy was delighted to have taken 3rd!
With the car setup now to perfection (turning down the boost in Fermoy made a massive difference) Christy has to be one of the drivers to look out for in 2011. Indeed his year is not finished yet as Christy, James Deane and Nigel Colfer are heading to Dubai to have some sideways action in the dust of the middle east!
