VVT (Variable Valve Timing) = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variable_valve_timing

VVL (Nissan Variable Valve Lift and Timing) = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VVL

basically, VVL is a further development on VVT (like Honda's VTEC), where not only does it change the timing but it also alters the lift the valves go through changing how much fuel/air gets in (or exhaust gases out) with each valve lift

greddy rocker arm stoppers are available for vvt s14/15 as far as I know.
I would deafo fit them at the stage your engine is at ie OUT of the car being built!

they say they are not compatible with vvt,but all they mean is you have to modify the rocker cover to fit them.its an easy 10 min job
