Who would be up for some night drifting?? [Archive]

Ok lads, after some awesome practice time in Portugal at night, was thinking if there was enough interest, of having a little practice night at home at goldstone!!
Could run it as a practice thing with twin battle practice for who ever was up for it, so no pressure on the more inexperienced drivers and of course a proper night drift train would have to come into play:cool:
If there was enough genuine interest we could fire up the BBQ and maybe even get a few choons going!!
Just an idea as there is lights on the track at home and after doing it at KD I think everyone deserves a go:D
As I said it would all depend on genuine interest so give me your thoughts???????

Yea it kinda has alright robbie,, I really think if I can organise this fairly right even with some ideas from others, it could be a savage night!!
I'm back for a while anyway we will see is it worth my while next year!!!????

as andy said move the big ass tyre's in the middle of the track not the ones on the edges (where people stand) would be a good night tho

Rite lads seems like this could be a plan, so let's get a list going of who genuinely would take part and of course the date is flexible to suit as many as possible! I was thinkin of 40euro a driver which will include free food from the BBQ:D and a fiver a head for spectators as we will probably have to hire out one portable street light for the top corner and they pricey enough to hire as far as I can remember!!

Pre payment from drivers will be a must because if no one turns up I don't want to be left with a pallet of burgers and a street light for no reason!!! I think that be fair enough,,, any other cool ideas are welcome??

There be loads a track time sure it's dark at half 6 and could keep it at it 11 or 12:D

Lighting will be good enough for lads to run with no headlights!! Be loads:-)

Ive drifted in a lot of places but that was the best fun Ive ever had. FACT.
Fair play to ya Ted bring it home to Ireland.
Count me in for sure anyway.
Does the Scania count as "camping" lol

This the same scania that ye drifted up there ??
Have a video on my phone from yeeeeaaarrs ago with was it you (set up camber and that) in a Pajero and Damo (Sil80drifter) in his Sil80 after the set up. The 2 of ye flying around the track in the dark (no track lights back then just the cars lights) and it worked well.
So with track lights I'm sure this would be class :cool:
