First off cheers to bart who sorted me with this 180, i owe ya big time kid :cool:
After the ball breaker S14 i started with i swore id never go back to SR or Nissan, but sure all the cool kids are so i said id join them again!
Rite so after doing the drift day in portlaoise i knew the tramper was'nt for this type of track and was only gonna be gud round mondello..
I dropped round to barts place to have a look at this as he was on his way back from cork with it, Some how i ended up buying it :confused::confused:
No plans for it at all just yet as ive done more pricking about with yolks than drifting/watching talking attempting to drift :o

Yup wheels and diff will be takin off it and sold, welded diff and prob a set of rota's on it, hmmmm tints!
Engine ect will be done as it blows up :)

Rite so went on a spin tonite and got sum new shoes that i wanted for it, have a mani and elbow sorted also and have a Z32 afm sorted should have a downpipe and decat and gtr fuel pump aswell if a fella goes ahead and breaks his car for parts...

Power steering pump was fooked when i got the car so changed that the other day surprizingly quiet now, although the pipe from the reservoir decided to burst tonite and dump loverly new fluid all over derks place :rolleyes: Cheers to dan for advice and info as i go along on different bits and peices!!

Have sum mobile1 15w50 to go in new plugs/oil filter, mite aswell change the box oil while im at it... Any point changing the fuel filter in a track car????

plug and play lad but theyre a bolox ta get at from the top with the inlet manifold in the way..beter off going at it from underneath,makes life much easier

4.3 Diff and half shafts changed as usual tommy was there to give me a hand literally as i near froze solid in the shed haha :o
Kit is all off gonna be running standard looks wise to keep it simple and keep replacement parts cheep for when i bulldoze stuffs i find in my way, front needs a bit of lowering then im done with that end of things!
If the weather ever fookin clears im off to lusk to get sum nice new rear lights off k1984w on here also, possibly have a profec b boost controller sorted and a tasty seat to keep me from flying around in the cabin wooop!
Give her a service then track time!!

Rite small update had some tyre scrubbing last time out in portlaoise so ive sold the 205/55/16 rainsports and got sorted with more rainsports 195/45/16 cheers to jay cheapest man in the country for them :D

Big thanks to the Justjap crew who helped me get this ready for portlaoise drift comp :D:D
Start of the weekend i was supposed to be in amature which after the last day out in this i would'nt have had a chance in..
The above parts made some difference to this car its completely different to drive..
I was fooking bricking when i was put in semi pro class :o
After dan taking the car for a spin round the track he pointed out a few minor probs that id have never copped cheers to the WKD crew and Justjap crew for the tips and confidence boosts :D
Finished up 3rd in semi pro losing to pete in the semi's and winning the 3rd vs 4th placing battle so was bouncing around chuffed with myself and how well the car went..
Went into the Pro class for the finals dunno where i qualified but i was up against coss in the soarer if the nerves were'nt bad enough queing up for the run i put my foot on the brake peddle which sunk to the floor :eek:
Arch liner came off on previous run and ripped through the brake pipe..
Coss knocked me out in the battles which was'nt a surprize with the form he was in chap was on fire all weekend :cool:

Well im bored as fook so seen as this has'nt been updated in months may aswell do it now, i was gonna break the car few months back as it was'nt been used at all but the lads talked me out of it, i want to finish what i started with this daysun :D
Here's how it looked at balbriggan last week(first time it moved past the gate of the yard since the portlaoise drift comp weekend in march) tipped a bale up there so now need a fuel tank which ive sourced from gem, sound chap is gem!

S15 Injectors
S15BB turbo
Bomex side skirts
Ganador rep mirrors (new)
OMP tr-s fixed back bucket seat (new)
Schroth harness x2 (new)
Front mount intercooler (new)
Few more bits needed before it's finished for a while..
Greddy profec B boost controller
Uprate the fuel pump
RB20 AFM
Braided turbo lines
When funds allow everything will be got/fitted and it'll be sent to TDP for a NIStune ecu and mapping and hopefully 320ish bhp :)
TBH i think the only thing keeping me going at this project is the craic and banter envolved with the lads in drifting and the hope funds will allow for PD 2012 season :D
90% hardship/brokeness and 10% enjoyment ftw :cool:
I know the feeling of the above mentioned had 0 interest in the 15 since the last day out even do I had great craic I think the 90% hardship gets to me ha..
Realistically you need a trailer and transport for this game and I dunno bout you but my pocket just does not allow for a jeep + trailer + drift car to be sat ther most the time + insurance + tax on the jeep serious shit!
But yea just keep the car if its not eating grass why not..
Very true jimmy, if it was'nt for derk tommy and the bartman id be fucked for getting it anywhere.. It's grand picking up bits and peices even tho its painfully slow due to money, but the 1500-2k for a trailer is gonna be the real killer :(

This thing has'nt moved since balbriggan in august have most bits got for it Z32 and boost controller is all thats left engine/mapping wise..
Interior is stripped out and its getting a weld in 7 point cage done by shane bradley very soon :) Needed a few bits so it worked out cheaper to by alan's 180 and take what i needed and sell off the rest, now have a full spare rolling shell for when it goes pete thong :D
Got these off the yolk im breaking.. Nismo front lower arms, light weight alloy pully's, new fiberglass front and rear bumpers, fuel pump, Hardrace track rod ends, braided turbo lines..
Mite aswell update this a bit, Have Mint HKS Hypermax coilovers for this now, Z32 AFM,Oil cooler and filter relocation kit,Blitz dual SBC boost controller, Full set of Blitz Gauges, doing a s14 disk and caliper upgrade keeping the 4 stud hubs, Have deposit on Gems bolt in cage as im bored with PD's pricking about so if they change regs theres always Driftfest and practice days :)
Dont think ive anything left to get its just a case of putting all the bits in a big pile and start fitting, then up to TDP for mapping before i get it sprayed :D
