Hey guys,

I just got my first drift car. It's a 180sx rough as a bears arse needs a bit of work. Engine seems to be running and ideling fine.

However I've just noticed some bolts missing at the top of the engine.
Around the (redtop) rocker cover some are nuts and some are bolts missing, one of them is there but won't screw in (no threads) and it's loose??

is this dangerous, the lad I got the car off put a HKS metal head gasket in it, would that have anything to do with it??

Try and get some pictures of it if you can. Maybe redtops are different, but certainly blacktops have some return pipe thing that bolts across the front of the rocker cover, but is removed, i think when the standard recirc is replaced. Maybe its those your seeing? If so then its nothing to worry about

Sorry for the huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge pic its the first one i saw.

The redtop looks way different to that pic Mr. Balls
I'll get a pic up to show what I mean later.
Some oil under bonnet could be from previous engine or problem before new gasket went in.
I hope I don't start runnin into problems before i get on a track.

Only the one bolt at the front won't thread in.
There's also 2 or 3 nuts missing around the rocker cover.
Will any nuts that fit do here??
