well lads! sold the s13 yesterday:o was sad to see it go, went home made a million phone calls, and decided to go look at this skyline, needs a bit of work but got it cheap enough to fix them all an still be a cheap car so happy out:D

its pretty standard just has cat back system, turbo timer, gtr steering wheel gtr front bumper, an some sorta skirts and spats! oh an yeloow bilstein shocks and springs in the front
it needs: coil packs, manifold gasket is blowing, problem with clutch(it wont come back up off the floor but drives fine? ya need to oull it up with ur foot if u wana press it to change gear!) track rod ends drop links, the big front bushes on the hub(what they called?)

plans once that sorted: just a nice set of wheels, coilovers gtr bonnet an grill then job done!:D ya input wud b great as always lads!:cool:

righto did a bit with this today, mainly made a list of what i need to get for it. it needs a gud few bits! haha anyway, first job was to tackle the front kingpin bearings for the front hub. i took the arm and hub off, seperated them and bet out the old bearings,

fitted rear coil overs today, had to roll arches they came out grand for a pikey job haha, need smaller profile tyres and then i can fit spacers, once it thru the test will go lower tho, front coilies hopefully b fitted this weekend !:D

Are they GTR coilovers ur getting? ya know the rear set up is slightly different on GTR's to GTS

GTS is the same as a s13
where the shock/coilover bolts to the hub.
(from what i remember a s13/hcr32 have a bush in the coilover)

but the GTR has the bush in the hub and the bottom of the coilover is in a fork shape going around the hub bush!

ya could cut your own and put the nismo lip on it....

one of the lads here has it done. looks the same as the gtr....

saves having to change the bonnet latch and stuff for the gtr bonnet.

the nova went into storage for a while, just dont have time to use it at the moment and hated seein it sittin in the yard! altho the 30 mile drive hungover was interesting, first long drive with the 2 way and it erm makes it interesting to drive to say the least!

passed nct today first time! the lad in the test centre reckoned it was too low, but i made him drive it onto the rollers, haha i think the bumper on the floor made the trac king pass cos its way off !:D

time to update this!! waaay over due!:D

recently ive fitted safc 2, adj actuator, fmic another gear box:( fitted the rb25 turbo, few suspension bits! spacers still need a downpipe, 2 tyres and a pair of front coilovers! but its getting there! here are a few pics!

in the vice an give it a few belts wit a big metal chisel an a lump hammer
its worked for me all the time if its the adjustin collars your on about.

been a busy few days! had nct last week, an failed on my hicas balljoints :( and front tracking! that was it! so i had an s13 subframe there an decided to fit that to feck, so dropped out old subframe fitted s13 an put some polysushes in my hubs for the toe arms, all back together now seems to b driving grand! just need tracking now, also fitted some s14 lower arms to the front , gave me some better front fitment and camber! car just seems to get lower an lower aswell haha must restrain to drop another inch, i duno how the yanks can tuck 17's i think it is imposible! :(
