View Full Version : What wheels to put on my 180sx? Help please
Right the story is at the moment i have Blitz type 03's on the 180sx
Now these will be sold very soon all going well
My budget is very limited as i am currently unemployed, it'll basically be the money im getting for the blitz ones plus a small bit more, so my budget will be €700 -€750, i know its not much for wheels these times :(
Would love something with a dish,good offset, has to be 17", maybe 18"s ,ill do spacers if i have too, and also something that the centers could be done a crazy colour and look well, but im open for any suggestions ye mite have.
So.........Any ideas wat would suit a wide arch, lowered 180sx??

your not gonna get any decent dish wheels for that kinda money, id say boyz cst zero's would look cool
Aw i know that man, sure ill see, looking through some old threads of carpo's in the last few months, i saw a few savage ones for my budget.
Just wanted suggestions, oh believe me if i had 2k i would be going all out

750 will get you plenty of wheel these days.

Bare in mind, it will have a different front bumper, carbon bonnet and spoiler, will be a different colour, and will be low also, it has 50mil archers on rear and front overfenders
Yeh they should be grand on it, kinda depends on colour you do the car aswell
Well watever colour the car goes, the wheels will be powder coated a different colour to compliment the car, so for example(Not doing this but...) Purple car - yellow wheels, or something like that.

Rota GTr's man 17x9 up front and 17x9.5 on the back they savage wheels dats wat i gots
also rota torques are nice to wan to get a pair of them for spares

Any more ideas lads, at the mo, im kinda leaning towards rota gtr's in some insane colour, 17" x 8.5".
I'm think about selling my rota gtr's and going five stud. there 18" 4 stud if your interested

I personally think that 17's would look too small with a 50mm overfenders, even if spaced out, dude u should be going 18's!

dont change the blitz for the rotas youve said above, they are a weak weak size and will look shit. fact!
A set of those enkei wheels that the pink 180 (susan?) in galway has would look savage on it!
Would love something chrome with a dish, but dont think funds will allow!
having bought rota gtr's 2 years ago...i know there the same price as a decent set of wheels off carpo or someone. for your wide arches youd need at least a 10j out back, with anything from +15 to any of the - figures!

good sizes for a 180 are 17x9 front 18x10 rear, nice and staggered like darraghs old 180! the lower the offset the better...make the car fit around the wheels :D

just looked at the wheels you have now...try your rear wheels on the front, will give you an idea of what size would be good up front!
ya i have tried that before and the offset of them looks well up front!
