i think its safe to say that you know what your doing :P

is the s13 rear subframe an easy thing to do,
is it to remove weight via removing the hicas?

Romo

i woulda thought with a spec like that you'd be putting out a lot more then 250bhp?

Its straight forward enough, It gets rid of the hicas rack and also the rear steering arms and ball joints which are very weak and allows you to replace them with s13/14 rear toe arms.

250-260 is a realistic power figure to expect with such a minimal engine spec using standard turbo, injectors and ecu.

Well finally got a chance to do a little more work on this....at last.
Have been too busy with work and fitting out the workshop to get round to it but a cancelled customer gave me a few hours to go at it..

Stripped the underside mechanicals, diff, prop shaft, original brake lines, handbrake cable and shoes, abs wires and anything else that was deemed useless!
http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w112/RPMotors/DSCF7284.jpg
Most of the clutter removed from the engine bay, I'll be making all new brake lines for it.

Another big gap in updates and alot has changed, The day job has been ditched and I'm working for myself at last!

I'm being kept busy which is all good but building cars and engines for everyone else is giving me the itch so I decided to make some time and get this project back on track.

As it stands the car has been sitting around under a cover mostly stripped so I decided to get moving on the next step, chassis prep.

So with the help of Barney from my sponsers, AM PM engineering, I got started removing lots of factory sealer and he got started on stitch welding the frame. This will continue for the next while till be get every seam and then we'll start making the custom roll cage!

So here is a few pics of the progress so far...

Front inner wings..
http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w112/RPMotors/DSCF8282.jpg
http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w112/RPMotors/DSCF8283.jpg

This is the mess made by the fire extiguisher after we discovered that Nissan had stuffed loads of sponge into the box sections around the inner wing and A pillar, Could have been worse.
http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w112/RPMotors/DSCF8286.jpg

In case of any more unexpected sponge we decided to move outside!
http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w112/RPMotors/DSCF8288.jpg

Beginning on the floor and door frames inside..
