saw this but not sure how it works tbh
do any of the professionally built sr20det cars vent to atmosphere or upgrade PCV side with a catch can and upgrade rocker cover/air intake side with a catch can keeping the vacuum system in place ?
Pic not workin. I have a catch tank on top of the rad. cover with the orignal can gone (wouldnt fit with s/s manifold). Pipe from the sump to rocker then to catch can with another from can to filter.

im running a fullybuilt 2.2 with a top mount turbo, and ive it vented to atmosphere, and ive no prob and does not throw up oil, same with the Pdr motorsport r33 skyline we built,no issues
Lots of pics would help. :D I want to set up a catch tank on my vvti 1JZ, but haven't a clue how to.

the above pic is wrong!!! very wrong!!! if urs is an s13 engine non vvt!!!
you run the pip from the side of the block to the "T" piece on the rocket cover then run a pipe from the front of the "T" piece to ur oil catch tank!!!
would there be any reason that the s14 and s15 rockers were made different then ?
dan , are you running non vvt or vvt , do you have any oil coming up ?

jamie, is urs non vvt ? also did read somewhere that e85 shouldnt be run vta as it was alot more dangerous than ordinary fuel .
i dont have any issues yet but dont want any so wanna sort it right.

this set up id say would be fairly good...vents to air out of a little filter on the back the catch can.

^is this your own setup ?
just wondering what way that works with the crankcase breather heading to nearly the bottom of the can ?

no its not mine dude...it'd work fairly similiar to the factory can id say seein as the crankcase pipe is at the bottom of both them
