myself and one of the lads bought this yesterday for trackdays and to (try to) drift aswell,we got it fairly cheap so if it blows up it'll still be a laugh,
we stripped it out today and we are gona cut out as much as we can at the rear of it also have to drop it on its ass and more importantly have to weld the diff

its only the 89 520 with m series kit but that just means more of a death it will get haha
hopefully we'll be able to cut most of the weight out of it so it be a bit better to slide

@darragh yea thats it man for a laugh more than anything, one of the friends said its a recession busting tramp :D were gona do the next trackday in mondello just for the craic and see what its able to do then hopefully tullow after that and if its anyway decent in tullow we'll try get it up to nutts at some stage.

plan is to get a sheet of perspex if we can get it and if not we'll try get a window out of a scrappy as we were told mondello wudnt let us out if there was no window in it not sure if its true doh.

ps.why do beemers have so much wiring in the car,we stripped it yesterday and theres heaps of wires everywhere and all these boxes lol:confused:

Big 520 pick-up by the look of things :D

Good luck with it, and try not to kill it before ya get it up to Nutts.. We've had a few 5-Series up here now, and theres still 1 running very very well, and its only a 2ltr too.. Its the model before this though from memory.

yea it'd be cool if it was a pick up but its not we took the boot off to skim the inside of it, have to get an altenator for it now aswell :(
