wat is the story with them ste i'm new to them and know fuck all about hicas... wat am i better off to do
The hicas in the r32 only work when your goin over somethin like 40km so you wont see the wheels movin at all lad. I only know this as mine was actin up and i did some research on them. Think im goin to fit a lock out bar eventually.
get the driftworks total lock out kit they are the job !!! better off without it anyway !!
as said the hicas lock out bars are good but if the hicas balljoints are worn the lock out bar wont solve it. ya need the whole dw eliminator kit, i fitted one before with out dropping the hubs but its a cunt of a job!! most people take hubs off an get the joints pressed out, i heated the shite out of them an bet them with a BIG hammer for an hour or 2 :D

Is it a better job do this than put a hicas eliminator in....! Cars back to a bare shell at the min so everything out...! Will a s14 or 15 subframe fit it....!

I never noticed my rear wheels moving like in that clip.
One of my hicas ball joints was worn so I replaced the whole lot with a Conceptua kit, it done the job and hasn't given any trouble since been fitted.
you will need to remove the hicas if its for drifting,as the hicas with try straighten the back end when you drift.as said the elimation kit is the best job and you will need to remove the pumps and all the pipework and loop it at the front so the fluid is just pumping in a loop.you wont notice it really when driving but when the back end is out it will be fighting against you
Ya iv looked into this a good bit with my 4door and the job seems to be those kits but the more I looked into it fitting a non hicas s13 seemed to be just as good an option. And the whole system is removed from the car! I'm sellin my s13subframe & all arms now but only caz I need to.

haha mine is still on my car and im drifting with it!
but the plan is to make drifting the car hard so then when i get a lockout kit and coilovers it will be easier! lol!:p

I've an S13 rear subframe in my 32, so no HICAS to worry about, less weight etc.

I did a bith of research on this last night and i think the best way to go is a s14 subframe with offset solid bushes...!
